<\/a><\/a>Well back last fall we observed<\/a> a Truck (10 Ton?) on a Barge.\u00a0 We\u00a0knew where it was coming and going from, but didn’t know\u00a0why.\u00a0 During the winter a neighbor skied out across the ice for an overnight visit to his property.\u00a0 He observed an ice road headed in the general direction that the Barge and Truck were frequenting.\u00a0 This project was so big that it required year-round construction.\u00a0 Adding to the mystery of what’s going on out there.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spring has arrived and the first visit, provided many answers, but no answer for what the Truck was loaded with.\u00a0 Big and heavy certainly is suggested.\u00a0 The idea that its easier to float the truck loaded to the location, rather than off-load the truck onto the barge is mind boggling.<\/p>\n

The following pictures will give a hint of what some of the residences are up to in our little corner of Georgian Bay.\u00a0 It should be pointed out, that this is a renovation, and yes that is a full sized commercial waste bin.\u00a0 Some of you may noticed that this is Country Estate, with Guest Houses.\u00a0 The Guest Houses are\u00a0each receiving renovations as well.\u00a0 The result will be a uniform architectural wonder.<\/p>\n

Final comment, there is a zoning bylaw in our township that specifies the maximum square footage that can be developed as living space relative to the property size.\u00a0 I wouldn’t know this, but some years back another neighbor had to get a zoning variance to cover his renovations that were over the limit.\u00a0 We received notice inviting our comments and concerns.\u00a0 It seems very likely that these renovations have added to the square footage, but no notice was received from the township.\u00a0 Hmm….<\/p>\n
