A Little Piece of Heaven

For those individuals that know this location, a piece of history.  In the lower left area of the image are two horizontally layed flat rocks.  They’re actually cemented in this location.  These were to have been part of the footings for the original location of the cabin.  It was discovered that the bed rock in this spot wasn’t so solid, more like bolders with soil and moss filling in the cracks.  This apparently solid looking bed rock has actually shifted with the freeze and thaw of many years.  Another footing is no longer visible as it eventually separated and fell away.  The cabin, in time, would most likely have ended up sitting on it’s back end, gazing up in to the sky.
